mekyriaThe Gizira Band album 'Extra Balady' is filled with super freaky songs where someone wanted to show how many sound effects can be used in one song. Wicked.
I'm in awe of Ranya Renée as a dancer and the amount of information on her baladi dvd. Go buy it!! It contains everything, from live musicians to three juicy baladi performances, an explanation between the different styles of baladi music within Egypt, how to make your BD moves suitable for baladi and several improvisation drills. Have to do some background checking.
