Short update of the last couple of days

Thursday: went for a walk and lunch with my aunt and her dog. Enjoyed the fresh air and the sight if the Pyramid of Austerlitz, put up by Napoleon when he was conquering the Netherlands back in the day.

Friday: my dad came over and we painted the livingroom wall, added locks to three of the four doors, and drove our bikes for an hour trying to find a hardware store for a specific supply. It was nice though exhausting, by the end of the day I'm through talking about powertoos and bridge.

Saturday: went to Bussum to meet up with bd friends underneath a really, really big christmastree. We sung x-mas carols and ODed on chocolate. I stayed untill late, talking with Roos about the many, many ways we feel cheated by life and the things that make it worthwhile.

Sunday: travelled to Zaandam for a divorce celebration of another (dance) friend. We did a workshop in erotic massage that was a lot of fun. I hung out afterwards with her sisters and B., we went out for pizza, smoked shisha in a hookah lounge filled with 18 something Morroccan boys and traded tips on dating and sex between the girls. Feeling all metropolitan and worldly, even when I am sitting in the train with my fold away bike stowed underneath the seats.

Tomorrow:I'll travel to Leusden to go to the midnight Christmas service at my childhood church with my mom.

I am exhausted but happy.
