My job using only the ten hundred most common words

I tried describing my job using only the 1000 most common words, which was easier than I expected on account of my job basically being a lot of talking, then writing down what we agree upon. I am an IT policy advisor, by the way.

I talk to people and agree on doing things one way. First with people like me, then with people in high places. I
don't make the things we agree on happen, I write them down and help people
decide.

Ah - I started typing words that kept getting denied by the first letter but then I saw they were ok if you use the whole word :) So I defined online marketing like this:

I help people who are looking for something they want to buy find that thing on computers.
