Wedding pictures!

The official pictures from Ikaiya and Poohbear's wedding are released! It's a good photographer and made a pick and did a bit of photoshopping. The pictures are gorgeous, with Ikaiya and Poohbear looking happy and healthy. But! since this is my blog, I feel free to post pictures of me and Mr.R because now I can finally show him off :-)

Freakishly, in the pic of you with no makeup you look soooo much like my Dutch friend's older daughter, only an adult and with straight hair. She favours her dad who is, I'm guessing, of Suriname ancestry based on his name and looks.

Most of my looks come from my mum, but my length and my lighter eyes are from my father's side. I noticed that people who are a mix between two races usually stand out because they/we are neither fish nor fowl, so to speak.

But most of the time, people of mixed race stand out because of being beautiful. It's like they (and you) got the best from both mum and dad. Not fish, not fowl, but unicorn.
