mextreme skirt - update I

I decided that I want an extreme skirt set, like the ones Anja makes! I did the calculations last week, bought the fabric on saturday and cut the pieces on teusday. WIll update with pictures when I have time. I intent to work on it tomorrow. Huge fabric shot:



Extreme is referring to the amount of fabric that it needs. Weehee, skirt work!!

rest and tranquility

My traintrip  back home lasted almost two hours. TWO hours!!! Today we had two defect trains in my direction, so I took a different train to Amsterdam Central then changed into a train that had people stacked on top of eachother. Not fun.

Teusday the lightning hit something in the vicinity of Utrecht Central and we waited for over half an hour before we could arrive at the station. They were pulling the switches manually instead of by computer. I'm hoping next week will be better!! Had a great talk with my mentor today, did a lot of work and felt like I was actually making myself useful.

Also: while talking to other people, my own knowledge about the Dutch e-government surpised me. Ha, bring on the next OTP/OSB/KPS/RINIS/DKD/BLAU/Polis/SUWI/EvLog/EVB, or any other abbreviation you might throw at me that requires long debating and complicated ICT systems!!!
