This post is mainly for my own sanity
Jan. 29th, 2014 03:44 pmWe will move my big stuff on Sunday the 16th and I am trying to get rid of as much as possible, as fast as possible.
I made a list for my subletter/future main hiring person a couple of weeks ago and she told me that she was only interested in keeping the washingmachine (but not for 50 bucks and she wasn't happy with it's performance) and she thought the locks were an integral part of the house, ergo didn't want to buy them from me. I understand her reasoning, but there were no locks when I moved in and I paid 150 euro to install them last year. You might notice that I am getting slightly edgy about the subject, because she is handed an affordable house in the center of a popular city on a platter and she is complaining about these two items.
I mentioned that if she believes that locking the rooms seperately is essential, she should talk to the landlord, not to me. It is his house after all, and she is signing the contract with him. She'll let me know if she wants to buy the locks or not this weekend.
A friend in Amsterdam is in need of a washing machine and she's coming over to pick it up soon.
The microwave will be picked up tonight
The cupboard in the bathroom will go to Ikaiya and poohbear
I've send an email to the new subletter about the lamps and curtains in the dining/livingroom, will throw in the rug as a bonus if he wants it
I have to photograph the cupboard in the bedroom and put the bedframe up for someone who wants it, to be picked up on Sunday February 16th
soooo.... that's about it, I think. I've started packing up stuff in my kitchen and cupboards so we can haul it to De Meern whenever Mr.R. picks me up. Everything that we move now makes it easier on the 16th.
