And with it comes extra nap time, after four hours of being awake I am spent and fall into a comatose two hour nap. I've been wearing bras that stretch with my expanding bust size for the past five months but I finally tried on a real bra yesterday. I've gone up two sizes, from a 70c/75b to a 75d/80c. How did I know? Because I buy bras that are two sizes to big during the sale and keep them in my costume stash. I have no clue what bras I'll need after giving birth, some of my friends said they went up another one or two cupsizes while breastfeeding.

With the growing bust sizes comes the growing belly. At this point I really don't need to tell anyone that I am pregnant anymore, as it is pretty obvious. No questions yet like 'you're due soon?' Or 'is it twins?', which are both clear indications that someones inside voice is going 'OMFG she's HUGE! Maybe she'll give birth right here and now. Must say something appropriate and show interest, other than 'are you playing in a sequel for Aliens''.

I am fairly mobile and going out for walks with the dog on a regular base. I read somewhere that women that stay active during pregnancy have an easier labor and shorter recovery time after labor. I am still riding my regular bike with the lady saddle on it. I now totally understand whpy female bike saddles are broad and wide. It supports both my hipbones and stabilizes my hips while driving. Normal (male) saddles give me pelvic pain. I can still roll over in bed (huzzah!), sit on the floor and get up without help and walk for about half an hour (slowly). I am sitting down as often as possible, seems like at work most of the time we talk in hallways and at peoples desks while standing. Can't do that anymore. I can do a foreward fold but with my belly in the way I can't fold properly, nor do I feel comfortable with long inversions like downward facing dog.

I freaked out last week over our dog, who was showing signs of pregnancy. I totally can't deal with a nest of pups while having a baby myself, or raising another pup while having a baby. Odds are that she is fake pregnant, as it is common among dogs when other bitches in the pack are pregnant that some of the bitches get the mother instinct. Apparently I am the pregnant bitch loaded with progesteron that probably set our dog off. We have a meeting at the vet next thursday for an ultrasound, because I want to make sure we're not receiving a suprise gift in a couple of weeks.

E is being great and doing all kinds of diy in the house, like putting up the curtains in the attic and finishing the mdf boxes underneath the roof for easy storage. We haven't gotten to painting the woodwork yet, and I've been moving my books out of the future nursery and into the dance room so we can start in there. Time is closing in on us: only six weeks to go until my eight weeks of maternity leave before my due date. I have ten more weeks paid maternity leave after giving birth, and a couple of weeks of paid holidays. I'll be back at work at the star of March, back teaching bellydance in February. Eek!
