Burlesque

Tomorrow I'm going to Bussum with Ikaiya for a workshop burlesque. Thirteen people signed up while the workshop space is more suitable for max eight so it will be crowded.

As I age and my body begins to sag and simultaniously swell, I am warming up to the idea of doing something that makes me feel sexy. The last year I felt decidedly unsexy on account of being pregnant or being post-partum. The workshop teacher's stage name is Cerise Noire and we were told to bring heels and a nice short dress. There will be boa's, gloves and stockings being stripped to cheesy songs. Let the fun begin!
