Ordinary people
May. 7th, 2016 11:24 pmThis weekend the weather is finally warm and sunny. We did all the mundane things people in the suburbs do: mow the lawn and work in the garden, have people over for a barbecue and I visited the local 'spring market' around the corner.
The garden has exploded so it was in need of weeding. I have to think of a design and materials that will make it easier to keep the garden in check. For now I'm going for the 'controlled jungle' look.
We've build an outside play pen for Eliza, she loves being outside with all of us. I ordered an official play pen online as they are much safer and easier in use.
Noushka is tired because of the heat and is lying around. When dusk falls she starts hunting for fieldmice in the garden. She is pretty happy with the way things are, though she wants to be in the play pen as well. That's where all the baby toys are, plus the baby which is nice because she wants to lick her hands and face all the time. Must be a dog thing.
