Whenever I hear these stories I always wish that they had happened earlier in the process, so the people involved had less time, maybe even no time, to get excited and start preparing. But it is what it is. I hope the process starts by itself now, so you don't need the procedure, but it will be good to have the booking nevertheless as sometimes even with the natural process things get left behind.
