Eliza is doing better

After a scary week, she is getting better. The fever didn't return and although she sometimes sounds like a chain smoker including the cough, her mood has lifted and she is eating better.

Today she's going to daycare again where she will probably pick up the next cold or virus. She will probably do so while smiling. She is pulling herself up to standing now, albeit being wobly and everything she manages quite well. Her eight teeth are often on display because she loves to smile. She knows she is not allowed to crawl into the kitchen and splash in the dog's waterbowl but she'll keep trying anyway. While shopping I noticed that baby sizes are 50-68 and she's now in a different category of sizes, 74-110. How did this happen?

Because it's been to long
She recently started playing with her feet, utterly adorable. This is during a bus trip, she doesn't know what to make of this weird shaking noisy thing

She loves crawling into the kitchen and we're using a chair to stop her

Okay, she's not sitting all by herself but she can sit up and lean on stuff and look smug doing so

My mom stole another kid's walking cart so she could walk with Eliza. Grandmothers are a special kind of crazy. She gave the cart back afterwards, in case you're wondering
