mekyriaI realized that I don't have a golden era costume for the hafla on the 19th so I was going through my stuff wondering if I'd be able to make something in time. But...
I just remembered that I also have an egyptian bra/belt set in leopard, that looks decidedly 80-90ies. Paired with a chiffon circle skirt, would this work?
or the alternative, but it is a bit too flashy and slightly leaning towards lebanese for me:
