1.I wonder how my uncle is doing, but no updates yet and I don't want to bother the family right now. They'll inform us when they're ready
2.When I say I can still do ALL THE THINGS ALL THE TIME while having a young kid, this is not true. Reality is harsh and I need to make choices. I do manage to do many things most of the time so I shouldn't complain. Things I am cutting out are organizing a reunion for my middle school, giving a workshop 'bellydance during pregnancy', performing for private parties during weeknights, planning group performances with Fakyma. I manage to keep my social network alive by whatsapp and meeting up at home with Eliza. I am travelling to Barbara who is in The Hague with her daughter Ziza in June, she seems to think I have unlimited access to a car. Uhm, no.
3. I've been driving on a regular base for three years now, and I am no longer afraid or stressed out. I even look forward to driving home after class, because it only takes 20 minutes. By bike it would be 40 minutes.
4. I'm filling in Eliza's form for her school and they want to know what my religion is, whether I am a refugee and the structure of my family. Why do they need all this personal information, including my tax number and date of birth? Feels a bit intrusive. I could tell them how to make things better from a security/privacy perspective but I won't. Practice singing 'let it go' instead.
5. Wonder what Eliza's favorite princess will be when she's old enough. Mine was snowwhite, as it was the only princess with dark hair. Then Jasmin came along, loved her too. Eliza is blond though, many more princesses to choose from. She's grown so much! Almost seven kilo's now.
6. Daycare center posted a picture of Eliza playing next to a three month old baby that weighs 6 kilo. She looks tiny. Is she too tiny? Hmmm, have to ask next time at the consultation office. Probably not, she's happy and healthy.
7. I look forward to two days of bellydance. Can I still do it? It's going to be weird but fun. I want to bring a small care package for my international dance friends that I haven't seen in a while. Would that be weird?
