Suhaila certification
Aug. 20th, 2013 04:48 pmSuhaila Salimpour is teaching a certification workshop in Brussels in October, and part of me wants to subscribe while another part of me thinks:'no way!'.
Pro:
- it is a solid dance format. I like her dvds and her technique has certainly made me a stronger dancer
- it is in Belgium, so much closer then America/Berkley will ever be
- meaning it is cheaper then traveling to America if I wanted to get certified
- it would be good for me
Con:
- I took a workshop with Suhaila and what I glimpsed from her, she is not my style of teacher. I don't like it when people scream at me
- it would be a hell of a lot of money. For reference: workshop 460, certification 200, travel expenses 100, hotel cost 200. We're roughly looking at 1.000 euro (1400 usd). I don't think it's worth that much money
- I would not travel to America for Suhiala. Why would I bother traveling to Brussels for her?
